FACTS: Twenty teachers who teach in West Kensington, Camberwell, or at students’ home.

EDITOR REVIEW: This is a very busy piano school. We like that most of the teachers are also composers.

They have the most ridiculously complicated fee structure. Essentially, the better you are, the more expensive it is. Grade 6 players will pay more than grade 5 players, which begs the question of how they determine these levels. And paying as you go for one lesson a time will cost you more, not to mention the differing off-peak and peak rates. It’s a bit of  a shambles.

Having said that, they host student concerts, giving their pupils the opportunity to perform in front of an audience.  They also have a production studio with high-tech equipment, which comes in handy especially if you have an interest in composition.
